Kick: Salman Khan's Eid release 'Kick' made over Rs 100 crores within four days of its release and became his biggest blockbuster. Seen opposite Jacqueline Fernandez, 'Kick' provided Jacky a much needed second lease of life in Bollywood. Her chemistry with the 'Dabangg' Khan was much appreciated. Songs like 'Jumme ki Raat' and 'Devil' became massive hits.

The film also featured Randeep Hooda and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in pivotal roles.

Happy New Year: Director choreographer Farah Khan's third venture with Shah Rukh Khan brought her another superhit in her kitty. The heist drama was filled with comedy, dance and music. Though hated by critics, 'Happy New Year' clinched the maximum number of trophies at the recently held Stardust Awards, including Film of the Year.

The movie also starred Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah. The film set a new record for the highest opening weekend collection, making Rs 108.86 cr.

Bang Bang: The official Indian remake for the Hollywood movie 'Knight and Day', 'Bang Bang', with high octane action sequences and foot tapping music was a wholesome potboiler. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, the movie went on to earn a whopping Rs 298 cr at the Box Office.

Singham Returns: The sequel to the 2011 hit movie 'Singham', 'Singham Returns' marked the return of the honest, dutiful police officer a la Rohit Shetty way. Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor churned out an amazing chemistry and the film went on to earn over Rs 100 cr within four days of its release.

Queen: The surprise package of the year, 'Queen' was a feminist movie in more than one way. Kangana Ranaut excelled in the role of the jilted bride who goes on a journey of self discovery when her fiance dumps her on the day of their wedding. The movie earned commercial success as well as critical acclaim.

Haider: Shahid Kapoor, as the emotionally conflicted 'Haider', was a delight to watch to in this Vishal Bharadwaj's movie. Also starring Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon and Irrfan Khan, the movie earned rave reviews not only from the critics but from the audiences as well.

Ek Villain: 'Ek Villain' was a revelation in more than one way. Sidharth Malhotra and Riteish Deshmukh played roles completely different from what they had been doing in the past. The film joined the coveted Rs 100 cr club soonafter and songs like 'Teri Galiyaan', 'Humdard', 'Zaroorat' and 'Awaari' became chartbusters.

2 States: The adaptation to Chetan Bhagat's novel of the same name, '2 States' was a light, family entertainer. The chemistry of the lead pair - Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor - did wonders for the movie and it went on to earn more than Rs 100 Cr at the Box Office.

Also featuring Amrita Singh, Ronit Roy and Revathy in important roles, the songs of the movie became chartbusters too.

PK: Though this Aamir Khan's movie has just released and it's too early to judge its future at the Box Office, we can rest assured that with a deadly duo of Rajkumar Hirani and Aamir, 'PK' will surely be a winner. Already being loved by the critics, audiences and Bollywood alike for the unique storyline and powerful acting by the cast - Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput - the list is incomplete without this movie.
