Recalling his initial days, SRK shared, "I was an odd-looking guy, I was not from a film background, I spoke too fast but I am thankful all the filmmakers and those friends who gave me an opportunity. So for me if a newcomer comes I have been trained by people like these to respect the newcomer and love them." (Photo: Express Archive)
At the same event, SRK shared, "25 years in the film industry was a big dream for a boy who came from Delhi all those years ago. These years have been full of excitement, hard work and various ups and downs and this book is a tribute to all these film makers who believed in me and my dreams. I am extremely thankful to all my fans, who have made me who I am today." (Photo: Express Archive)
SRK said, "An actor is just like water... he should just adapt the colour and shape. I believe the art is important, the artist is not. The art remains and not the artist and as an actor, I feel if I think like that I can work with some amount of purity. The purity will be retained if I believe that my art is important than myself." Lawrence Dcunha shared via social media, "Shah Rukh Khan. My first ad film shoot with king khan!!! Although he shot throughout the night for his upcoming movie, he came slightly behind schedule but sweetly apologised for the delay." (Photo: Express Archive)
"SRK was very respectful, thoroughly professional, yet joking and making people laugh on the set. We didn't have a stand in for him, so he sat on the mark and asked me if I could continue with my lighting while he was rehearsing his lines," he said. (Photo: Express Archive)
"His acknowledgement towards his technicians and crew overwhelmed me, that he addressed each one by their names. There was no dull moment with him on the set. When the shoot was finally done, he shook hands with everyone. He stayed till the very end and even clicked pictures with all of us. Such a gentleman!!! (sic)," concluded Lawrence Dcunha.
