
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his fandom is unmatchable. This year, on his birthday SRK skipped his annual ritual of waving to his countless fans gathered outside Mannat but continued another recent tradition. Shah Rukh, who turned 59 on Saturday, attended a special appearance planned for "SRK Day"– an event organised by his fan clubs for his birthday in Bandra. When a fan asked SRK on parenting, the star shared how hew had a late morning but as soon as he was up, he learnt that his son AbRam was in crisis as his iPad had stopped working. He shared that after fixing AbRam’s problem, he found that Suhana was facing a wardrobe crisis and he proceeded to help her. He then ended up helping his elder son Aryan Khan too. He joked and said, "I learn from my family that your patience is directly proportional to the numbers of kids you have." On a serious note, SRK added, "This is the learning that I carry from my home to my work. I try and fix the problems that people are facing, at my shoot, at work. In another interesting video, a fan called him a pan-world star and not just pan-India. She also asked him about his plans to take Bollywood around the world. To this, the superstar replied, "Agli picture mai pan world hi advertise karunga. Like you said, I am taking India to places which was impossible. My fans are the people who have taken me where I thought it wasn’t possible. The idea will always be this – Hum koi film aisi hi banaayen, language is no longer a barrier now with OTT." SRK went on to add, "We have to be more original, write better stories for the youngsters, and stories that touch your heart. We all are learning and as soon as that happens, I am going to release the film there. Hopefully, the next one is like that, I am trying my best. Shah Rukh Khan also expressed his feeling for his fans and shared, "Apart from the fact that you all love me, watch my films and pray for my family, the fact that you all could create a community like this (is commendable). You all have come closer to each other because you all call yourself my fans. I don’t like to call you all my fans. I’d like to call you all my family. Shah Rukh also shared how a fan scolded him for not announcing his next film. "I take a lot of time to make films. Isliye kaafi gaaliyan bhi padti hai mujhko. They say, ‘Kya kar raha hai? Film release nahin kar raha hai’. Sharing about a fan, SRK shared, he wrote, ‘Birthday hai. Abhi toh (announce) kar de yaar’. Shah Rukh Khan quipped, "Sabki (film) aati hai par hamari (film) aati hai”. He stressed on the second ‘aati’ and it added to the fun. He continued, "Hence, please wait, have patience and send your love. The most special part is that sometimes, you love me so much that you shout back at me and say ‘Chal film release kar’." But the biggest revelation that SRK made was that he has quit smoking. For those who don't know SRK, during his prime smoking days, is known for smoking more than 50 cigarettes in a day. SRK shared at the event, "The good news is that I’m not smoking anymore, guys. Mujhe laga tha ki I will not feel so breathless, but abhi bhi feel kar raha hu (I thought I wouldn’t feel breathless after quitting smoking, but I still do)." When a fan asked what will be SRK's three wishes from God, the star replied, "God has fulfilled all my wishes. If ill ask anything from God, he will thing I am greedy." Shah Rukh added that whenever he prays before going to his bed, he prays for everyone around him, even for his fans. "Aaj raat ko mai aap sablog k liye dua karunga." He added, "I genuinely wish that all of us remain healthy, may be I am getting older so health is becoming more important. I wish everybody gets a six pack like mine, without having to exercise. I wish everybody has happiness around them."
