Veteran actor Randhir Kapoor along with youngest brother Rajiv Kapoor became a part of the launch of writer Geeta Dass' book 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal'. The book boasts of paintings made on various members of the Kapoor family. There is a film too named 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal', released in 1971. The film 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal' was produced by Raj Kapoor and the success of the film turned out to be crucial to the banner, after the failure of 'Mera Naam Joker'. It is also said that Randhir Kapoor fell in love with Babita during the shoot of the film. Film 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal' was Randhir Kapoor's first film as an actor and director after his work as a child artist in the film, 'Do Ustad'. Randhir Kapoor, who is the father of actresses Kareena and Karisma Kapoor, said that the film will always remain his most favourite. Actor/director Raj Kapoor's sons Randhir and Rajiv posed for photos along with the book. Randhir said at the launch of the book 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal', "I remember my first picture 'Kal Aaj Aur Kal' in which my father (Raj Kapoor), my grandfather (Prithviraj Kapoor) and my wife (Babita) was there... a lot of dedication and love was in it. "It will always remain heartwarming and my favourite film." About the book, Kapoor said: "I remember all the memories looking at these pictures in which my grandfather, my father, my uncle and brothers are there. I'm grateful to Geeta ji, she always embarrasses me by praising me and putting me on a pedestal, I'm not worthy of the love she is giving me, but I'm grateful that she considered me worthy of this love..." A painting showcased at the event had the Kapoor Family members on it.
