Here's a look at what Bollywood has to offer in the year 2016. Bollywood has been very entertaining until now with big releases like Neerja, Wazir, Saala Khadoos, Ghayal Once Again. But, the coming months are also full of excitement, thrills and big release by the three Khans - Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan. Aamir and Salman will be releasing their sports based movies Dangal and Sultan respectively while Shah Rukh Khan will be seen as bootlegger in 'Raees' and a fan in 'Fan'. Here's a look at what Bollywood has to offer in the year in the coming months. Dangal (Aamir Khan): In Dangal, Aamir Khan plays a wrestler and has gained more than 20kgs to perfect the look of a wrestler. Aamir will play three different ages in the film. Dangal, which is being directed by Nitish Tiwari, the movie is inspired by the real life story of former wrestelr Mahavir Phogat, who trains his two daughters in wrestling in an orthodox village of Haryana. The film's shoot has already started and is slated to release next year. Raees (Shah Rukh Khan): Shah Rukh Khan in and as Raees will be playing a Gujarati don who comes in prominence due to his illegal alcohol trade. Shah Rukh Khan's bespectacled and bearded avatar has wooed all and connected the audience at a large level. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui who plays a tough policeman and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan in the lead role. Sultan (Salman Khan): In Sultan, Salman Khan will play the role of a wrestler from Haryana, Kesari Sultan. The movie is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and the film's shoot has already begun in Mumbai. Sultan is set to release on Eid 2016 and could clash with his friend Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees.’ Fan (Shah Rukh Khan): Shah Rukh Khan will be seen in the role of a fan in Maneesh Sharma's 'Fan'. Shah Rukh Khan has said Fan has been his toughest role till date. The actor plays his own fan in the movie. Shivaay: ‘Shivaay’ is a high-octane action drama movie which stars Ajay Devgn in the lead and Sayesha Saigal, grand niece of legendary actor Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu, will be seen making her debut in the film. Apart from playing the lead role in the movie, Ajay Devgn is also directing the film and will be seen doing some high flying action seuqences in the film. Ki and Ka (Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor): R. Balki’s directorial Ki and Ka will feature Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan on the big screen for the first time. Arjun will essay the role of a house husband, while Kareena will be seen playing an ambitious career-oriented woman in the movie. The movie will also see a cameo by megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan. Jagga Jasoos (Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif): Bollywood's rumoured couple Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be seen sharing screen for the third time in Jaggaa Jasoos. After Barfi, this is Ranbir Kapoor's second outing with director Anurag Basu. Baahubali 2 (Prabhas, Rana Daggubati): The first part Baahubali - the beginning proved to be the biggest box office hit of the year in 2015 with larger than life visuals and special effects. And the highly anticipated sequel to SS Rajamouli's epic film went on floors a few days back. The film is highly awaited because of the climax of its prequel. The first part starred Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Tamannah Bhatia in lead roles. Housefull 3 (Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh): The third installment of the successful comedy franchise 'Housefull' will see a huge ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh along with Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon. Director Sajid Nadiadwala's previous installments Housefull and Housefull 2 were loved by all. Rangoon (Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Saif Ali Khan): ‘Rangoon’ directed by Vishal Bhardwaj brings together the trio of Shahid Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan. Rangoon is a romantic musical film and is scheduled to release in October 2016. The film will bring back director Vishal Bharadwaj and Shahid Kapoor for the third time after giving hits like Kaminey and Haider. Kangana Ranaut and Shahid have already started shooting for the movie. Udta Punjab (Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Diljit Dosanjh): Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Udta Punjab has former real life couple Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. Udta Punjab is a story of a Punjabi rockstar and Kareena Kapoor will also be seen playing a very special role. The film also marks the Bollywood debut of Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh who will play the role of a cop. Rock On 2 (Farhan Akhtar, Pracchi Desai, Shraddha Kapoor): The much-awaited sequel of Farhan Akhtar's 2008 musical entertainer “Rock On!!” will feature actress Shraddha Kapoor. Actress Pracchi Desai and Arjun Rampal will reprise their roles. The film will continue from the point it ended at, in its prequel. The gang of Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal will be joined by Shraddha Kapoor who is also a good singer in real life. Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni, which released on September 30, has garnered Rs. 24.10 crore on Sunday, making a total business of Rs. 66 crore on its opening weekend, in India. The film trade analyst, Taran Adarsh, took to Twitter with BO figures. He wrote, "MSDhoniTheUntoldStory is SENSATIONAL... Packs a SOLID total... Fri 21.30 cr, Sat 20.60 cr, Sun 24.10 cr. Total: ₹ 66 cr. India biz." Force 2 (Sonakshi Sinha, John Abraham): Force 2 is the sequel to Force which had John Abraham. It is an emotional story of a cop. Sonakshi Sinha is paired opposite John in the sequel. Directed by Abhinay Deo, the film will take the action a notch higher by going international. Mirzya (Harshvardhan Kapoor, Saiyami Kher): Mirzya is Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's first love story and his next after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. The film will launch Anil Kapoor's son and Sonam Kapoor's younger brother Harshvardhan Kapoor. Tanvi Azmi’s niece, Saiyami Kher who will be romancing Harshvardhan in the film, is also marking her foray into Bollywood with ‘Mirzya’. Set in Rajasthan, ‘Mirzya’ is an epic love story that plays out in contemporary times inspired by the folk tale of ‘the legend of Mirza – Sahiban’. The film is said to have heightened drama and action-packed sequences. Fitoor (Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapur): Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Fitoor is a love story set in Kashmir which will see Aditya Roy Kapur and Katrina Kaif in the lead pair. The movie is an adaptation of Charles Dicken's novel 'Great Expectations.' Wazir (Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan AKhtar): Wazir is a thriller which stars Farhan Akhtar and megastar Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. The film co-written by Abhijat Joshi and Vidhu Vinod Chopra who have earlier collaborated on films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai, 3 idiots and PK. The movie will see Farhan Akhtar in an action packed role for the first time. The movie also features actress Aditi Rao Hydari who is paired opposite Farhan Akhtar in the film. Neerja (Sonam Kapoor): Sonam Kapoor plays the role of Neerja Bhanot and the movie takes you through the life of the brave air hostess who gave up her life to save 359 lives on a plane that was hijacked by terrorists in 1983. Also starring Shabana Azmi and Shekhar Ravjiani, ‘Neerja’ has been directed by Ram Madhvani. Baar Baar Dekho (Sidharth Malhotra, Katrina Kaif): Directed by Nitya Mehra, the film is said to be a love story that travels through time and Sidharth Malhotra along with co-star Katrina Kaif will be sporting different looks in the film. ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ is produced by Excel Entertainment in association with Eros. Saala Khadoos (R Madhavan): Rajkumar Hirani's Saala Khadoos starring R Madhavan in lead role is a story of a banished coach, who wants his protege played by Ritika Singh to get into the ring and prove her ability. Ritika, who is a wrestler in real life too, has brought out her zeal for the game on screen as well. Directed by debutante director Sudha the film will release on January 28. Baaghi (Shraddha Kapoor, Tiger Shroff): Baaghi stars the Heropanti actor Tiger Shroff and has ABCD 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor as his leading lady. Baaghi is an action love story which will see Tiger Shroff in various looks. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and UTV Motion Pictures, “Baaghi” is slated to release on April 29 next year. Jai Gangaajal (Priyanka Chopra): Priyanka Chopra has donned the khaki uniform for the film, which will hit the screens on March 4 next year. The movie, will narrate the nexus between police, society and politicians. Jai Gangaajal is not a sequel to Prakash Jha's 2003 fil 'Gangaajal' which starred Ajay Devgn in the lead role. Kapoor and Sons (Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan): Directed by Shakun Batra and produced by Dharma Productions, Kapoor and Sons will feature Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan in lead roles. The movie revolves around two brothers played by Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan, one of the two is unaware of his sexuality and Rishi Kapoor will be playing grandfather of the male leads. Sidharth and Fawad will be playing the role of a writer in the film. Great Grand Masti (Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh): The adult comedy film 'Great Grand Masti' is the third installment of the popular franchise Masti which stars Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles. It will mark the Bollywood debut of model Kangna Sharma, who was the runner-up in the Miss Maxim 2014 contest. It also features the Kaanchi actress Mishti Chakraborty and Miss Universe 2015 contestant Urvashi Rautela as the leading ladies. Azhar (Emraan Hashmi, Pracchi Desai): Emraan Hashmi will be seen playing Mohammed Azharuddin, which is a biopic on former Indian cricketer in Hyderabad. Pracchi Desai will be portraying the role of Azharuddin’s first wife Naureen in the film. Directed by Tony D’Souza, ‘Azhar’ also stars Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles and is slated for a worldwide release on May 13, 2016. Mohenjo Daro (Hrithik Roshan, Pooja Hegde): Hrithik Roshan will be seen in totally new avatar and will be seen fighting with tigers in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Mohenjo Daro. The movie is an epic love story set in the Indus Valley civilization. It is being extensively shot in Bhuj and will see Hrithik romancing debutant Pooja Hegde. Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma): Filmmaker Karan Johar's next directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will feature Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in pivotal roles. A Flying Jatt (Tiger Shroff, Jacqueline Fernandez): Tiger Shroff is all set to don the avatar of a desi superhero in A Flying Jatt. The film is being helmed by Remo D’Souza and has Jacqueline Fernandez opposite Tiger in the lead. The film also features the Mad Max Fury actor Nathan Jones, who will be playing the role of the antogonist. Sarbjit (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda): The film is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan and was sentenced to death. He was attacked by inmates at a prison in Lahore in April 2013 and died a few days later. The film features actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who will be seen playing the role of Sarabjit’s sister Dalbir Kaur and the title role will be played by Randeep Hooda.
