Raaz - Bipasha Basu, Dino Morea:
Starring Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea 'Raaz' is about a young couple who stay at a hill station. Their relationship goes through a rough patch when a ghost starts haunting them. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the movie released in 2002.

Haunted 3D - Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Twinkle Bajpai:
Another Vikram Bhatt movie, 'Haunted' 3D released in the year 2011. It is India's first horror movie to be made in 3D. The film is about Rehan (Mahaakshay Chakraborty) who is sent to sell off a mansion as he is in the real estate business. As he stays there, he witnesses unusual events in the mansion and later finds a letter which had a story of a girl who was killed by a ghost and still lived in the house.

Bhoot - Ajay Devgn, Urmila:
A Ram Gopal Varma film, 'Bhoot' starring Ajay Devgn and Urmila Matondkar in lead roles released in 2003. It is about a couple moving into a new apartment which is haunted by the ghost of a tenant who committed suicide there.

Ragini MMS - Rajkummar Rao, Kainaz Motinala:
Rajkummar Rao's second movie after 'Love Sex aur Dhokha', this one did well at the box office. The actor starred opposite Kainaz Motivala in the film which was produced by Ekta Kapoor. The storyline is interesting and one of the best movies to be watched on Halloweens.

Mahal - Ashok Kumar, Madhubala:
A 1949 film, 'Mahal' is one of its kind. The film revolves around Ashok Kumar who moves into a new mansion and falls in love with the ghost of Madhubala.

13 B - Madhavan:
The movie starring Madhavan released in 2009. Directed by Vikram Kumar, the film revolves around Manohar (R Madhavan) who moves into a new house with his family. A series of events take place like the lift never working, a TV show that reflects all that is happening in his family and much more.

Vaastu Shastra - Sushmita Sen:
'Vaastu Shatra' starring Sushmita Sen released in 2004. The movie is about a couple moving into a new house with their son. The presence of ghosts in the house keeps haunting them until the movie takes a serious turn.

1920 - Rajneesh Duggal, Adah Sharma:
Vikram Bhatt has given some of the best horror movies to Indian cinema. The director launched actress Adah Sharma opposite Rajneesh Duggal in this film which is about a couple moving into a mansion which has an evil past. The movie released in 2008. It was a surprise hit that year.

Darna Mana Hai - Saif Ali Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Sameera Reddy, Nana Patekar, Aftab Shivdasani, Antara Mali:
A Ram Gopal Varma film, 'Darna Mana Hai' is about seven friends who share their spooky and supernatural stories while they are in an abandoned building.

Raat - Revathy, Om Kapoor:
Revathy starrer 'Raat' is one of the best horror Indian films till date. The 1992 movie is about Revathy getting obsessed with a spirit . Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, the film is a must watch this Halloween.
