Mohanlal starrer Big Brother is the latest victim of piracy website Tamilrockers. The thriller, which also features Arbaaz Khan in a pivotal role, released on January 16.
Big Brother has been helmed and written by Siddique. It has been bankrolled by Siddique, Jenso Jose, Philipose K. Joseph, Manu Maliackal and Vaishak Rajan.
Apart from Mohanlal and Arbaaz, the movie also features Anoop Menon, Honey Rose and Siddique.
However, despite the star cast, the movie didn't exactly connect with the audience.
Indianexpress.com's Manoj Kumar gave Big Brother one star in his review of the film.
Manoj wrote in his review, "It takes a seasoned and indisputable talent like Mohanlal to even muster some reactions and perform with a straight face in the presence of Arbaaz Khan. Also, I can’t imagine the plight of the artist who dubbed for Arbaaz. It must have been so dispiriting. What was the need to import an actor from Bollywood, only to put him through such an embarrassment? And what was the need for Siddique to make this movie at all?"
