We take a look at some of the Pakistani actors who have tried their luck in India. Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane is the latest Pakistani actor to make her entry into Bollywood. Mawra is making her big Bollywood debut with Sanam Teri Kasam releasing on February 5. Over the years, many Pakistani actors have tried their luck in Bollywood and a few likes Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar, Salma Agha have proved to be successful too. After Mawra, Mahira Khan will be making her debut opposite King Khan Shah Rukh in Raees later this year. We take a look at some of the Pakistani actors who have tried their luck in India. Mawra Hocane: Actress Mawra Hocane is making her debut in Bollywood with Vinay Sapru, Radhika Rao’s movie 'Sanam Teri Kasam'. Mawra will be romancing Harshvardhan Rane in the film. Mawra Hocane became an overnight sensation in India when Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor sent her a video message via Instagram. Mahira Khan: Actress Mahira Khan, who is a household name in Pakistan thanks to her hit show 'Humsafar', is making her Bollywood debut with Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’ opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan. In the film, Shah Rukh plays an underworld don and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan plays his wife. Raees also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a pivotal role. 'Raees' will release in July 2016. Fawad Khan: Even before he made his Bollywood debut, Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan had managed to conquer many Indian hearts with his performance as Zaroon in TV serial 'Zindagi Gulzar Hai'. And soon after, Fawad entered the Bollywood scene with hit film 'Khoobsurat' opposite Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor. He bagged an award for Best Male Debut that year. The actor will be next seen in 'Kapoor & Sons' along with Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra.Fawad Khan and Sidharth Malhotra will be playing the grandsons of Rishi Kapoor. Directed by Shakun Batra, the film will hit the screens on March 18. Ali Zafar: The rock star from Lahore made his Bollywood debut in the 2010 satire 'Tere Bin Laden' as an actor. The film earned him a nomination for Filmfare’s Best Male Debut Award. Post Tere Bin, Ali has appeared in many Bollywood films such as Luv Ka The End, Love Mein Ghum, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, London, Paris and New York and Kill Dil.Ali Zafar will be next seen in a cameo in 'Tere Bin Laden dead or alive' along with actor Manish Paul, Pradyuman Singh and Piyush Mishra. The film is set to release on February 19. Imran Abbas: Pakistani actor Imran Abbas, who is known for his leading roles in television serial 'Dil-e-Muztar', made his Bollywood debut opposite Bipasha Basu in Vikram Bhatt's 'Creature 3D'. Unfortunately it was universally panned by critics. Atif Aslam: The singer is yet to appear on-screen in a Bollywood movie but did a great job as an actor in Pakistani film 'Bol'. He has managed to cement his position as a playback singer in India with hits like Tere Bin from Bas Ek Pal, Pehli Nazar from Race and Jeena Jeena from Badlapur under his belt. Atif recently revealed he has several offers to act in Bollywood films so we might soon see him in any of the same. Sara Loren: Sara Loren made her Bollywood debut with Pooja Bhatt's 'Kajraare' and was later seen in 'Murder 3'. She has done a couple of item numbers in past years. Humaima Malick: Actress Humaima Malick made her Bollywood debut opposite Emraan Hashmi in Raja Natwarlal. Somy Ali: The actress starred in several average films after debuting with Anth in 1993, however, she was better known for being Salman Khan's girlfriend. Reportedly, Salman fell for Aishwarya Rai while still in relationship with sony Ali and that broke Ali's heart, after which she left Bollywood forever and got settled in the United States. Zeba Bakhtiar: Zeba Bakhtiar made her Bollywood debut in Raj Kapoor's directorial venture 'Henna' opposite Rishi Kapoor. While the actress did gain popularity but her Bollywood career did not take off. Salma Agha: Salma Agha's became a household name thanks to her hit ghazals in Nikaah. She played the lead role in the film and her songs from the movie became instant hits. Now her daughter Sasha Agha is trying her luck in Bollywood.
