Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 recently saw Ashish Sharma from Solan, Himachal Pradesh on the hot seat. He won Rs 1,60,000.

For the sixth question for Rs 20,000, Amitabh Bachchan showed a video clip and asked, "The politician speaking in this video clip comes from the former royal family associated with which place?" The options were Jaipur, Gwalior, Indore and Baroda. Ashish Sharma used his Flip the question lifeline. Before flipping the question, host Amitabh Bachchan announced the answer as Gwalior. The flip question for 20,000 was, "What is the state animal of Himachal Pradesh?" The options were Snow Leopard, Red Panda, Blue Sheep and Markhor.

For the tenth question for Rs 3,20,000 was, Border song "Sandese Aate Hain" was played, and Ashish was asked, "The film which featured this song is loosely based on which battle or war between India and Pakistan?"The options were Battle of Longewala, Kargil War, Indo-Pak War 1965 and First Kashmir War. Ashish Sharma decided to quit the game as he was not sure about the answer. Upon quitting, Amitabh Bachchan asked him to make a guess, and he answered Indo-Pak War 1965, which was incorrect.
