Punjabi Krish and Tamilian Ananya played by Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt respectively are all set to woo you with their unique love story in '2 States.' Here are some of the real life Krishs and Ananyas from Bollywood.

Abhishek Bachchan - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan: Abhishek Bachchan, whose father and superstar Amitabh Bachchan is from Allahabad and mom a Bengali, tied the knot with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from Mangalore, Karnataka in 2007. The couple will be celebratings its 7th anniversary in a few days from now. They have a daughter named Aaradhya.

Dharmendra-Hema Malini: The already married Punjabi jatt Dharmendra fell for Hema Malini, an Iyengar from Tamil Nadu. The two, who had worked in as many as 28 movies together tied the knot despite all oppositions. The two have been happily married for the last 34 years now and their two daughters Esha and Ahana are also married and settled.

Vidya Balan - Siddharth Roy Kapur: It came as a complete shocker - A Punjabi munda, Siddharth Roy Kapur marrying a Tamil Brahmin Vidya Balan. But Vidya made sure that the wedding was held in traditional Tamil way. Though the family did host a sangeet and mehendi ceremony true Punjabi style.

Aamir Khan - Kiran Rao: Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan also fell for a girl from South India Kiran Rao. Kiran is originally from Bangalore but was brought up in Kolkata.

They have a son named Azad Rao Khan.

Shilpa Shetty - Raj Kundra: Shilpa Shetty is a Bunt from Mangalore, just like Aishwarya, she tied the knot with Punju boy Raj Kundra born and brought up in London. The two, who have been married for five years, have a son named Viaan. She also had a tradition Bunt style wedding but just like Vidya her wedding was preceded by a punjabi sangeet and mehendi ceremony.

Lara Dutta-Mahesh Bhupathi: Now here it is the other way round - bride was a Punjabi and groom from Bangalore yes we are talking about Lara Dutta and tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi.

Lara tied the knot with Mahesh in 2011 and have a daughter Samaira.

Vivek Oberoi-Priyanka Alva: Bollywood's 'Kaal' aka Vivek Oberoi like his parents carried forward the tradition by marrying Priyanka Alva, daughter of the late Karnataka politician Jeevaraj Alva and his Punjabi wife Nandini. They too have a son.

Sridevi- Boney Kapoor: Tamilian Sridevi tied the knot with her 'Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja' director Boney Kapoor, who was already married with two children. Boney is a Punjabi. The couple has two daughters - Jhanvi and Khushi.
