Those who clear the first year in School of Open Learning (SOL) and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board (NCWEB) will now be able to take admission in any college affiliated to the University of Delhi (DU) in their second year.

The ICSE (Class 10) students have secured passing percentage of 98.5, which is up by 0.01 per cent in comparison to the last year. The ISC (Class 12) students registered a success rate of 96.46% with pass percentage up by 0.18 per cent.

The exams for both the classes started from February. On February 8, the ISC first exam was held, ICSE exams commenced from February 29 with English language paper. The Council has today clarified that the students should ignore rumours or any other speculations as the results will be out as per the schedule.

According to an official notification, the results are being declared two weeks earlier than usual, due to the introduction of new technique LICR (Live Ink Character Recognition). This technology captures and digitalises marks marks written on the top-sheet of every answer-sheet and instantly transfers this data from the evaluation centres to CISCE’s cloud-based servers.
