2016 Board exams: All the results so far

CBSE Class 10 results 2016: 1.68 lakh students scored a perfect 10 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) compared to 94,474 students last year. While the number of students who scored 10 CGPA has increased significantly, the overall pass percentage has come down by a little more than one per cent. The pass percentage this year stands at 96.21 per cent, while it was 97.32 per cent last year.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exam on June 6, 2016. This year, a pass percentage of 89.56, which is at 1.90 percent less than last year that was registered in the SSC result.

The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has declared the results for Class 12 on May 18. Around 2.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 Board examinations. Over 7.6 lakh students have appeared for the exam this year. Around 3,99,523 lakh students took the Secondary exam out of which 1,55,865 were girl students and 2,43,658 were boys. About 3,01,158 will appeared for the Senior Secondary examination with 1,12,061 girl students and 1,89,097 boy students.

The pass percentage of government schools was 42.25 per cent, government-aided schools 55.92 per cent, and of private schools 50.99 per cent. Students of schools in rural areas witnessed pass percentage of 50.38 per cent while those in the urban areas recorded 45.30 per cent pass percentage.

About 24,055 candidates enrolled for the HSLC exam, 15027 have managed to qualify it with passing percent of 65.42. The top position is secured by Madhu Kumari Giri from Dimapur who secured 96.83%.

The pass percentage this year is 94.52 with 5,83, 266 candidates of a total of 6,17,030 regular candidates who appeared for the examination, clearing it. In the case of girls the pass percentage is 94.77 and in the case of boys it is 94.30.
