Tea time snack: How to make Aloo Bonda

Winter time is here and it’s time to have steaming hot snacks with a hot cup of tea. Aloo Bonda is prepared with spicy potato filling stuffed in bread and coated with gram flour (besan) batter.

Ingredients
Bread slice – 10
Gram flour – 1.5 cup (200 grams)
Carom seeds – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder – 1/4 to 1/2 tsp
Oil – for frying

For stuffing
Potato – 4 (300 grams) (boiled)
Green coriander – 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
Green chilly – 2 to 3 (finely chopped)
Ginger – 1 inch (finely minced)
Red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
Mango powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Carom seeds – 1/4 tsp

For 10 bread bondas
Time – 40 minutes
