Uttarpara (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Dipanjan Chakraborty of the BJP won the Uttarpara assembly seat, defeating Minakshi Mukherjee (CPI(M)), Sirsanya Bandopadhyay (AITC), Subharanjan Shikari (IND), Subrata Mukhopadhyay (INC), Suman Paul (IND), Tapan Chowdhuri (SUCI(C)).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Kanchan Mullick, Bharatiya Janta Party Prabir Kumar Ghosal, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Rajat Banerjee (BAPPA) and others. In the last Uttarpara Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Kanchan Mullick won by a margin of 35,989 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Prabir Kumar Ghosal was the runner up securing 57,889 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,49,369, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
