EC’s hashtags on voting and hydrating

The EC urged people to cast their votes, with polling being conducted in 96 constituencies across nine states and a Union Territory today. Taking to X, the poll body used hashtags like #YouAreTheOne and #SaathChalenge for people who went to polling booths together. In one of the posts made by EC, a couple in their wedding attire can be seen displaying their inked finger at the polling booth.

Apart from encouraging people to vote, the EC also urged them to remain hydrated, given the rising temperature and scorching summer heat during polling time. “Hydrate, don’t be late!” the commission captioned a video compilation of voters and polling booth officers having water and other beverages.
