Sasaram (Bihar) Assembly Election Results 2025 Live: Snehlata of Rashtriya Lok Morcha won the Sasaram assembly seat, defeating Anand Kumar Gupta (IND), Arif Isain Hussain (IND), Arman Ahmad Khan (AAP), Ashok Kumar (BSP), Ashutosh Singh (NCP), Bimal Kant Dubey (IND), Binay Kumar Singh (Jan Suraaj Party), Dhanjit Sharma (Jagrook Janta Party), Geeta Devi (IND), Jakir Husain (IND), Krishna Kumar Singh (IND), Kumari Archana Gupta (IND), Lal Mati Devi (IND), Md Shahzad Hussain (Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram)), Niranjan Kumar (IND), Omjeet Kumar (IND), Ramayan Paswan (IND), Rekha Devi (Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party), Satendra Sah (RJD), Vivek Kumar (IND), Yash Raj Singh (Jai Hind Force).
In the last Assembly elections, the RJD’s Rajesh Kumar Gupta won by a margin of 26423 votes. The JD(U)’s Ashok Kumar was the runner up securing 56880 votes.
Bihar witnessed a voter turnout of 57.3% this year, slightly higher than in 2020. The regional alliances — the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan and the NDA comprising JD(U) and BJP and others — battled for dominance in the state.
