Mekliganj (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Dadhiram Ray of the BJP won the Mekliganj (sc) assembly seat, defeating Adhikary Paresh Chandra (AITC), Golapi Roy (IND), Hiranmay Deb Singha (IND), Hiten Barman (SUCI(C)), Ila Rani Roy (INC), Kamal Kumar Roy (All India Forward Bloc), Kirttiram Barman (IND), Krishna Barman (IND), Manoj Kumar Ray (IND), Purnendu Roy (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Adhikary Paresh Chandra, Bharatiya Janta Party Dadhiram Ray, All India Forward Bloc Gobinda Chandra Roy and others. In the last Mekliganj Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Adhikary Paresh Chandra won by a margin of 14,685 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Dadhiram Ray was the runner up securing 84,653 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,16,863, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
