Jhanjharpur (Bihar) Assembly Election Results 2025 Winner: Nitish Mishra of BJP won the Jhanjharpur assembly seat, defeating Abdul Irfan (IND), Birendra Kumar Singh (BSP), Deo Kant Jha (AAP), Keshavchandra Bhandari (Jan Suraaj Party), Krishna Kumar Sahu (IND), Krishna Narayan Jha (IND), Nutan Dave (Aam Janta Pragati Party), Om Prakash Poddar (IND), Ram Narayan Yadav (CPI), Ramnarayan Sahu (Vanchit Adhikar Party), Umar Aftab Afsar (IND), Vijay Kumar Mandal (SUCI(C)).

Jhanjharpur (Bihar) Assembly Election Results 2025 Live: Nitish Mishra of BJP won the Jhanjharpur assembly seat, defeating Abdul Irfan (IND), Birendra Kumar Singh (BSP), Deo Kant Jha (AAP), Keshavchandra Bhandari (Jan Suraaj Party), Krishna Kumar Sahu (IND), Krishna Narayan Jha (IND), Nutan Dave (Aam Janta Pragati Party), Om Prakash Poddar (IND), Ram Narayan Yadav (CPI), Ramnarayan Sahu (Vanchit Adhikar Party), Umar Aftab Afsar (IND), Vijay Kumar Mandal (SUCI(C)).
In the last Assembly elections, the BJP’s Nitish Mishra won by a margin of 41788 votes. The CPI’s Ram Narayan Yadav was the runner up securing 53066 votes.
Bihar witnessed a voter turnout of 57.3% this year, slightly higher than in 2020. The regional alliances — the RJD-led Mahagathbandhan and the NDA comprising JD(U) and BJP and others — battled for dominance in the state.
