With just four days left before Himachal Pradesh goes to polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday mocked the Opposition saying the party has already left the battlefield and it is a one-sided contest in the upcoming elections. Addressing a public rally at Una, PM Modi said, “This is the first time I am witnessing such enthusiasm for BJP that I am witnessing this time in the people of Himachal Pradesh during elections as the people of the hill-state have already made up their mind to teach Congress a lesson.”
In his Palampur rally, the prime minister once again launched an attack on the Congress party saying welfare of the people has never been a priority for the Congress party and therefore the only identity of the party now is corruption. PM Modi also addressed a public rally to end his day’s campaign in Kullu. The elections to the 68-seat assembly will be held on November 9 and counting of votes will begin on December 18.
