Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections 2017: BJP will regularise contract staff, says Prem Kumar Dhumal

FORMER CHIEF minister Prem Kumar Dhumal Sunday said the BJP, if voted to power, would restore faith of the people in government and protect life and properties of citizens, apart from looking after welfare of employees and pensioners .

Addressing a massive rally in Solan, he alleged that the Congress had befooled government employees and contract workers. “I assure you that we will regularise the services of contract employees having two years of service. He said Dr Y S Parmar university located at Nauni in Solan would be strengthened beside exploring option for a horticulture university in the private sector.”

Dhumal alleged that Congress was “misusing” name of Dr Y S Parmar, the state’s first chief minister, for political gains. “We have due respect to Dr Parmar and installed his statue. Dr Parmar’s family members have also released how the Congress had tried to sideline the family and misuse his name. Thus, they have come to the BJP.”
