Patidar Anamat Andolan Samiti (PAAS) national convenor Hardik Patel on Friday launched a veiled attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over the alleged sex CDs circulating in the market in which the Patel community leader has been shown in bad light.
Subverting the lyrics of the song ‘Ramchandra Keh Gaye Siya Se’ of 1970 Bollywood film ‘Gopi’ on his official Twitter handle, Hardik attacked PM Modi and BJP over a host of issues like the temple being built by the right-wing outfit Hindu Maha Sabha in the name of Mahatma Gandhi’s killer Nathuram Godse in Gwalior, mob lynching and Ram temple issue. He also referenced Jashodaben Modi, PM’s estranged wife in his poetic dig.

Three videos purportedly showing Hardik in the company of women have gone viral in the recent days. However, PAAS has claimed that the BJP might release 52 more ‘morphed’ video clips of the Patidar leader and his aides to defame them ahead of Gujarat Assembly elections, which will be held in two phases next month on December 9 and 14.
PAAS co-convener Dinesh Bambhaniya has alleged that the top leadership of the Gujarat BJP hatched a conspiracy to frame the quota stir spearhead in a rape case. Bambhaniya alleged that the “conspiracy” was hatched following directions from Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and state party president Jitu Vaghani and that the PAAS will take legal recourse against this.
Addressing a press conference in Gandhinagar on Thursday, Bambhaniya said, “As Hardik has the support of women, the BJP systematically conspired to destroy the agitation and defame Hardik. And we have got all the information on that.” According to him, Rs 40 crore was paid to prepare the videos. He alleged the involvement of one Vipul Mendapara from Surat and industrialist Bimal Patel in the conspiracy. There are 52 CDs of PAAS leaders, prepared by the BJP, of which 22 are related to Hardik, he claimed.
