Gangarampur (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Satyendra Nath Roy of the BJP won the Gangarampur (sc) assembly seat, defeating Amrita Barman (SUCI(C)), Biplab Barman (CPI(M)), Goutam Das (AITC), Jatindra Nath Barman (BSP), Jui Barman (INC), Sadhan Biswas (IND), Tarun Ray (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Satyendra Nath Ray, All India Trinamool Congress Goutam Das, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Nanda Lal Hazra and others. In the last Gangarampur Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Satyendra Nath Ray won by a margin of 4,592 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Goutam Das was the runner up securing 84,132 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,12,521, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
