Bhangar (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Md Nawsad Siddique of the All India Secular Front won the Bhangar assembly seat, defeating Akiyabul Middya (IND), Ikbal Molla (IND), Jayanta Gayen (BJP), Kamaluddin Molla (IND), Karimul Molla (IND), Mafijul Ali Biswas (IND), Mahabubul Islam (INC), Masadul Molla (IND), Md Mir Samsuddin (IND), Md Momtajur Rahaman Molla (IND), Md Rabiul Islam Gazi (IND), Mirja Hasan (IND), Naosan Molla (IND), Rafique Akunji (SUCI(C)), Rajib Ahamed (IND), Saokat Molla (AITC), Sima Bhattacharyya (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Sujata Ranjan (BSP).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party Md. Nawsad Siddique, All India Trinamool Congress Karim Rezaul, Bharatiya Janta Party Soumi Hati and others. In the last Bhangar Assembly elections, the Rashtriya Secular Majlis Party party’s Md. Nawsad Siddique won by a margin of 26,151 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Karim Rezaul was the runner up securing 83,086 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,51,977, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
