Behala Purba (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Winner: Sankar Sikder of BJP won the Behala Purba assembly seat, defeating Abhijit Raha (INC), Ashim Chakraborty (IND), Asish Samanta (SUCI(C)), Atanu Das (IND), Bholanath Patra (IND), Dr Nilay Majumdar (CPI(M)), Krishnasish Gangopadhyay (IND), Pintu Bayen (IND), Pushpa Dhali (BSP), Subhashis Kar (IND), Subhasish Chakraborty (AITC).

Behala Purba (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Sankar Sikder of the BJP won the Behala Purba assembly seat, defeating Abhijit Raha (INC), Ashim Chakraborty (IND), Asish Samanta (SUCI(C)), Atanu Das (IND), Bholanath Patra (IND), Dr Nilay Majumdar (CPI(M)), Krishnasish Gangopadhyay (IND), Pintu Bayen (IND), Pushpa Dhali (BSP), Subhashis Kar (IND), Subhasish Chakraborty (AITC).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Ratna Chatterjee, Bharatiya Janta Party Payel Sarkar, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Samita Har Chowdhury and others. In the last Behala Purba Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Ratna Chatterjee won by a margin of 37,428 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Payel Sarkar was the runner up securing 73,540 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,88,032, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
