Baruipur Paschim (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Biman Banerjee of the AITC won the Baruipur Paschim assembly seat, defeating Amulya Kumar Sardar (BSP), Asit Lal Nag (INC), Biswajit Paul (BJP), Krishnendu Pramanik (IND), Md Lahek Ali (CPI(M)), Md. Sohidul Laskar (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Prodyut Chakraborty (SUCI(C)), Subrata Das (IND), Tilak Mondal (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – All India Trinamool Congress Biman Banerjee, Bharatiya Janta Party Debopam Chattopadhyaya(BABU), Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Md Lahek Ali and others. In the last Baruipur Paschim Assembly elections, the All India Trinamool Congress party’s Biman Banerjee won by a margin of 61,910 votes. The Bharatiya Janta Party’s Debopam Chattopadhyaya(BABU) was the runner up securing 59,096 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,32,885, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
