Bangaon Dakshin (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Swapan Majumder of the BJP won the Bangaon Dakshin (sc) assembly seat, defeating Asish Kumar Sarkar (CPI(M)), Biplab Tikadar (IND), Kalyani Mondal (IND), Kisor Kumar Biswas (INC), Pabitra Roy (IND), Rabindra Nath Barai (SUCI(C)), Rituparna Addhya (AITC), Santosh Kumar Sikdar (BSP), Shefali Bain (IND), Swapan Majumder (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Swapan Majumder, All India Trinamool Congress Alo Rani Sarkar, Communist Party Of India (Marxist) Tapas Kumar Biswas and others. In the last Bangaon Dakshin Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Swapan Majumder won by a margin of 2,004 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Alo Rani Sarkar was the runner up securing 95,824 votes.
