Bagda (sc) (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Soma Thakur of the BJP won the Bagda (sc) assembly seat, defeating Dulal Chandra Bar (IND), Gour Biswas (All India Forward Bloc), Goutam Malo (BSP), Kalipada Biswas (IND), Kirttaniya Prabir (Bapi) (INC), Madhuparna Thakur (AITC), Manik Bagchi (IND), Swapan Mondal (SUCI(C)), Tushar Kanti Halder (IND).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Biswajit Das, All India Trinamool Congress Paritosh Kumar Saha, Indian National Congress Kirttaniya Prabir (Bapi) and others. In the last Bagda Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Biswajit Das won by a margin of 9,792 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Paritosh Kumar Saha was the runner up securing 98,319 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,68,567, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
