Alipurduars (West Bengal) Assembly Election Results 2026 Live: Paritosh Das of the BJP won the Alipurduars assembly seat, defeating Abdul Latif Choudhury (Aam Janata Unnayan party), Abhijit Saha (IND), Abinash Das (IND), Bhupesh Das (IND), Manik Barman (Kamatapur Peoples Party (United)), Mrinmoy Sarkar (Papan) (INC), Pijush Kanti Sarma (SUCI(C)), Suman Kanjilal (AITC), Shyamal Roy (CPI(M)).
In the 2021 assembly elections, the candidates are as follows – Bharatiya Janta Party Suman Kanjilal, All India Trinamool Congress Sourav Chakraborty (GHUTIS), Indian National Congress Deba Prasad Roy and others. In the last Alipurduars Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janta Party party’s Suman Kanjilal won by a margin of 16,007 votes. The All India Trinamool Congress’s Sourav Chakraborty (GHUTIS) was the runner up securing 91,326 votes.
The total electorate in this constituency is approximately 2,49,955, including male and female voters across urban and rural segments.
