You are listening to the Expresso Entertainment Update. Here is the latest news from the world of Television and OTT Platforms brought to you by The Indian Express.
"Let's begin with news on superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

In the latest episode of KBC 14, Big B hosted a contestant named Biren Vala. While sharing details about himself, Biren said that he had bet his wife that she’ll have to eat his choice of food if he gets to sit across from Bachchan on the show, but if he doesn’t, then he’ll eat whatever she gives him.

The contestant also reminded Big B of a video appearance by his wife Jaya Bachchan on the last season of the show, to which, he said, ""You should always listen to your wife. Even if you don’t get what you want, it’s fine. A mother’s priority is always their child"""
"Television actors Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary welcomed their second child, a daughter, on November 11. Now, Debina has shared the baby’s first picture on social media. In a post, she wrote that she’s calmer this time around than she was when she welcomed her first daughter in March this year.

In the picture shared by Debina, she’s seen wearing a pink suit and holding her baby in her arms. She did not reveal the baby’s face, as she covered it with a pink heart emoticon.

Debina and Gurmeet tied the knot in 2011. They first met on the sets of Ramayana, a TV show in which they played Sita and Ram respectively. "
"Meanwhile,

Bigg Boss 16 has always been known for controversies. However, this time, the controversies inside the house are also playing out in the real world, with the contestants’ parents also getting involved. Sumbul Touqeer Khan’s father recently got a chance to speak to his daughter via a phone call on the show. While he tried his best to encourage her after being pulled up by host Salman Khan during the weekend, he also ended up demeaning Tina Datta.

Tina Datta reacted by saying, “If your girl is going wrong, it doesn’t mean you will put another girl down. This is not how parents act,” She added that he had no right to say what he did on national television
"
"In more news from Bigg Boss 16,

Sumbul Touqeer Khan‘s stay became tougher, after her friendship with Shalin Bhanot was questioned by host Salman Khan. As Salman remarked that Sumbul is obsessed with Shalin, Tina Datta also agreed to the same, leaving Sumbul feeling attacked. To boost her up and get her on the right track, the actor’s father connected with her via a phone call and asked her to amp up her game.
Sumbul’s father Touqeer Khan told indianexpress.com, ""While I understand people will play games, it was wrong to attack her personally. The makers understood the sensitivity of the issue and thus allowed me to speak to her. It was much needed and I am thankful to them."""
"Netflix shared the trailer for the much-awaited Money Heist: Korea—Joint Economic Area Part 2. The show, the Korean adaptation of the widely popular Spanish series Money Heist, follows a group of robbers as they attempt to pull off a grand heist in the fictitious Unified Korea Mint.

In the new trailer, the Professor says, “In a world where money is best, I sold anything and everything for success.” There are high-octane action sequences with much blood spattering. The stakes are deadly, and panic begins to ensue as the Professor’s plan seems to collapse. A sense of finality and doom prevails in the trailer, as everything begins to fall apart. "
"Television actor Charu Asopa and model Rajeev Sen have been discussing their marital troubles on public platforms for a few months now. The couple recently separated and in Rajeev’s new vlog for his YouTube channel, the model shared that he is in touch with Charu.

In the video, Rajeev said, ""On my part, I try to be nice to her. I keep sending her nice WhatsApp messages. Making her feel that yes, I’m there, even though we are not physically there with each other. And making sure that Ziana is good. And then let her do whatever she wants to do. This is what she wanted. This is her path.”"
"Meanwhile,

The trailer for Faadu: A Love Story has just dropped. The web series focuses on Abhay, played by Pavail Gulati, who is torn between his desire to become rich and successful, and his love for a woman. He aspires to the rags-to-riches story, and in this journey, he falls in love with Manjiri, played by Saiyami Kher, who harbours a completely different philosophy in life.

Going by trailer, it seems as if the story is about the constant tussle between desires and needs, and how it changes one’s outlook. The trailer gives a peek at Abhay and Manjiri’s opposites-attract love story, filled with ups and downs, pain and sorrow, backed by an emotional soundtrack."
"Moving on to news on the absence of ‘shark’ Ashneer Grover from the upcoming season of the popular Sony TV reality show Shark Tank India. Since the trailer was unveiled, fans have wondered why Ashneer wasn’t invited to return. The executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Namita Thapar, has indirectly commented on Ashneer’s absence.

Namita wrote on Twitter, “One person doesn’t make or break a show… not me, not anybody… this show is about celebrating our entrepreneurs, job creators… it’s about teaching masses business concepts through beautiful stories of these nation builders.. focus on that & the hard work put in by the team.”

Shark Tank India will premier next month."
"Lastly,

South Korean master filmmaker Park Chan-wook’s critically-acclaimed movie Decision to Leave will be available for streaming in India on MUBI, the platform announced on Tuesday.

The film, which won Park the best director trophy at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, will start streaming on the platform from December 9, the streamer said in a statement.

Starring Chinese star Tang Wei and Korean actor Park Hae-il, Decision To Leave tells the story of Hae-Joon, a seasoned detective, who investigates the suspicious death of a man on a mountaintop."
