“Let us begin today’s bulletin with news on actor Atharvaa. Kuruthi Aattam is an important film for the actor and director Sri Ganesh. Atharvaa, who exhibited his potential with Bala’s Pardesi (2013), is yet to get a breakthrough. On the other hand, Sri Ganesh, who made a solid debut with 8 Thottakal, went under the radar for the past five years. And, undoubtedly, a lot of hopes have been pinned on Kuruthi Aattam.
In a recent chat with indianexpress.com, Atharvaa said, “Initially, I didn’t have the confidence to take up a lot at a time. Only when I worked simultaneously in Etti and Kanthian, I realise I am capable of multitasking. However, I prefer dealing with things one by one.”

“After many hiccups, including an accident on set and the pandemic, Kamal Haasan’s movie ‘Indian 2’ is finally going on floors in September. Kamal will be joined by Kajal Aggarwal for the shoot from September 13 onwards.
Putting all reports and rumours about her quitting the project to rest, Kajal has finally confirmed that she is still a part of Indian 2 and that her portion of filming will begin in the second week of September.
Kajal Aggarwal confirmed the happy news while speaking with Neha Dhupia on an Instagram live. She said, “I am going to resume shooting for Indian 2 from the 13th of September.””
“Moving on, Viruman’s trailer and music album were launched at a grand event in Madurai recently. The Muthaiah directorial marks the acting debut of Aditi, daughter of filmmaker Shankar. The Enthiran director also attended the event as the chief guest.
Speaking about his daughter at the event, Shankar said, “I haven’t seen Muthaiah’s films, but I have heard the wonderful songs of his movies. So, I am happy that my daughter is in good hands.”
He added, “Whatever I say about her will come across as praise from a father. However, as a filmmaker, I have noticed that she is a good entertainer. Her success lies in how she works on her talent and how the directors tap into it.”

“Speaking of Viruman, actor-producer Suriya attended the trailer launch event of Viruman in Madurai recently. Fresh off winning the National Award for Best Actor, Suriya expressed his gratitude to friends and fans who stood by him for over 25 years now.
He said, “I wasn’t there in the country for 40 days. I was in New York to attend a matter concerning my daughter’s education. So it took a while for me to understand that I won the National Award. But, even before me, you guys started celebrating my win. That’s what makes me so happy,”
The actor further noted that it was only a matter of time before his two brothers, Karthi and Yuvan Shankar Raja, got their dues. ”
“Meanwhile, director Mysskin, known for films like Anjaathe, Sithiram Pesuthadi, and Psycho, has been roped in as an actor for Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film ‘Maaveeran’. Shanthi Talkies, the production house behind the movie, shared the development on Twitter. The post read, “We are elated to have Mysskin Sir onboard!”
Though Mysskin is well-known for his directorial ventures, he has also established himself as a capable actor with films like Super Deluxe, Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum, and Nandala. He was last seen in a cameo appearance in GV Prakash’s Bachelor. On the other hand, Mysskin is gearing up for the release of his upcoming horror film Pisaasu II. Starring Andrea, the movie is the second part of the hit film Pisaasu (2014). ”
“Moving on, actor-filmmaker Dulquer Salmaan is quite upbeat about his upcoming Telugu movie Sita Ramam. The star is confident that the film will hit the right chord with the audience across the country.
He said at the pre-release event held in Hyderabad recently, “I think there is visible confidence that we all believe this film is genuine, special, and something you will never forget. I feel it will outlive all of those who made this film,”. Dulquer noted that Sita Ramam was very close to his heart as it allowed him to forge new relationships and took him to places he had never seen before.

“Speaking of Sita Ramam, actor Prabhas was the chief guest at the pre-release event of the upcoming Telugu film. Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, the film is due in cinemas from today onwards.
Prabhas said, “The trailer looks extraordinary. Dulquer, the most handsome hero in the country, superstar. He did Mahnaati in Telugu, what a great film. Everyone is praising the performance of Dulquer and Sita so much. They have spent so much to make this love story. There also seems to be a war sequence in the movie. They have shot in Kashmir and maybe it is the first film in Telugu to be shot in Russia,” ”
“We end this bulletin with news on Visudha Mejo. Just two days before release, the makers of Visudha Mejo, starring Lijo Mol Jose and Mathew Thomas in the lead roles, have decided to postpone it owing to torrential rains.
The filmmakers said in a statement, “The release of Visudha Mejo has been postponed due to heavy rain. The new release date will be announced soon.
