Game Time: High jumper Tejaswin Shankar on life as a student athlete in the US

With this episode, Express Sports is starting a new series called ‘Game Time’, where Daksh and Gaurav will discuss controversies, key sports moments of the week and interact with sports personalities. To start off this series, they sit down with national record holder, high jumper Tejaswin Shankar, who is currently studying on a full scholarship at the Kansas State University, US. They talk about his life as a student athlete, the cultural and training differences between India and the US and how he is preparing for Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

Later in the show, they also talk about the current Indian cricket line up chosen for the upcoming tour in the West Indies. There have not been many replacements since the World Cup. Should some players be resting? Is it insecurity keeping them from doing that? And why is Shubman Singh Gill not in the line up?
