After the mass resignations — 21 Congress and nine JD(S) ministers — the H D Kumaraswamy government in Karnataka is barely hanging by a thread. So all eyes are currently on the Karnataka Speaker K R Ramesh Kumar. He will decide on whether and when to accept a demand for a floor test. The moment he accepts the resignation letters of the 14 MLAs, the coalition government will plunge into minority. To give us some clarity on the situation, why certain resignations have been rejected and whether there’s a possibility of the BJP forming the government in Karnataka, state correspondent Johnson TA joins us over call to explain.
