Mumbai CST Bridge Collapse, Masood Azhar and PUBG Ban

Yesterday evening a tragedy took place in Mumbai when a portion of a foot overbridge collapsed killing 6 people and injuring 31 others. This foot overbridge connected the north-end of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) railway station to BT Lane near the Anzuman Islam School. The incidence has caused significant outrage and has once again raised questions about the infrastructure in Mumbai. For our first story Sandeep Ashar, who reports on issues of urban governance and policy planning in Mumbai for the Indian Express, joins us to talk about the state of infrastructure in the city. Next, as China once again stalls the listing of terrorist Masood Azhar at the United Nations Security Council, Shubhajit Roy, who reports on matters of foreign affairs for the Indian Express, joins us to explain why China continues to do so and what options does India have now. And last, Rakjot’s ban on the mobile game PUBG.
