Surveillance footage of the deadly May 17 shootout at a Waco, Texas restaurant was made public Thursday. The shootout between two biker gangs, which authorities say arose from an apparent confrontation between the Bandidos and the Cossacks motorcycle clubs, had resulted in the killing of nine people while over 20 were left injured.
The footage, which was first released by CNN, shows various gang members hiding under tables and firing guns during the shootout.
Over 170 bikers were arrested after the incident. The police also recovered 480 weapons: 151 guns, along with assorted knives, brass knuckles, batons, hammers, and the bikers’ blunt objects of choice.
However, more than five months after the horrific incident, no one has been charged in the deaths of the nine bikers. Police and prosecutors are silenced by a gag order; a grand jury is weighing charges in the case.
