At least 80 people were killed when a truck drove into a gathering in Nice, France, during Bastille Day celebrations in French Riviera.

The truck crashed into crowd who were leaving after witnessing a fireworks display in French Riviera town of Nice, injuring several and sparking panic. The driver, reportedly a Tunisian, was later shot and killed by the French Police.

The incident caused a series of reactions, including US President Barack Obama condemning the attack and Presidential candidate Donald Trump postponing the announcement of his running mate.
