UK prosecutors charge former BBC Radio DJ with rape and indecent assault

Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service said on Thursday it had charged former BBC Radio DJ Tim Westwood with four counts of rape and nine counts of indecent assault.

The charges relate to alleged offences against seven women that took place between 1983 and 2016, the police said.
