Trump names Steven Cheung White House communications director, Sergio Gor to head personnel office

Cheung previously held the position of director of strategic response during Trump's first term, playing a key role in shaping the administration's communication strategy.

President-elect Donald Trump has appointed Steven Cheung, his former director of communications during the campaign, as the White House communications director, the Trump transition team announced on Friday.

Additionally, Sergio Gor has been selected to lead the Presidential Personnel Office.

“Steven Cheung and Sergio Gor have been trusted advisors since my first presidential campaign in 2016 and have continued to champion America First principles,” Trump stated.

Cheung previously held the position of director of strategic response during Trump’s first term, playing a key role in shaping the administration’s communication strategy.
