In a tragic incident, at least 34 people have died after tornadoes struck several states in the US Midwest and Southeast on Saturday night and now a video has gone viral where a resident of Tylertown in Mississippi, recorded the moment a tornado struck past his home.
A dust storm in Kansas on Friday led to a crash of about 50 vehicles and at least eight people died in the incident. Texas also witnessed a similar pile up of vehicles. Missouri reported 12 fatalities across its five counties, the state’s highway patrol informed on X.

In Missouri’s Butler County, the director of emergency management Robbie Myers said that more than 500 homes in the county were destroyed due to the tornadoes.

A church and grocery store were also destroyed, a mobile home park had been “totally destroyed,” he said, according to Reuters.

In Tylertown, Mississippi a man was able to record the moment when a tornado tore past his home. In the video, the tornado can be seen swirling around his home with trees, cars getting affected.

A state of emergency has been declared in several states, including Arkansas, Georgia and Oklahoma. On Sunday, the weather forecasts predict severe weather with flash flooding and more tornado warnings issued across the region.
