Iran-US-Israel Ceasefire Talks Today News Live Updates: The tension around the negotiations between Iran and US is palpable, with US President Donald Trump telling the New York Post in an exclusive interview that the American forces are reloading the warships. He also said if the talks fail in Islamabad, strikes will continue on Iran. In a post on Truth Social he said “The only reason they (Iranians) are alive today is to negotiate!”. A similar tone was spotted when Vice-President J D Vance left for Islamabad. Although he said he feels the meeting will be positive, he added a word of caution and said Iran should negotiate in good faith.

The Pakistani capital is unusually quiet this Friday; major arteries are barricaded, and a two-day public holiday has been enforced to facilitate the arrival of diplomatic delegations. However, the “peace” remains largely confined to paper.
