The missile attack, reportedly launched in retaliation for Israel’s ongoing military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, has intensified the already precarious tensions between the two nations.

In response to Iran’s missile attack on Israel, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a stern statement on his official X account. He referred to the strikes as a retaliatory measure against the “aggression of the Zionist regime” and emphasized that Iran’s actions were rooted in its “legitimate rights” and aimed at ensuring peace and security for both Iran and the region. “A decisive response was given,” Pezeshkian declared.

He warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to recognize Iran’s stance, asserting, “Let Netanyahu know that Iran is not a belligerent, but it stands firmly against any threat. This is only a corner of our power. Do not enter into a conflict with Iran.”

The missile attack, reportedly launched in retaliation for Israel’s ongoing military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, has intensified the already precarious tensions between the two nations.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, spoke defiantly, suggesting the attacks would intensify, stating, “With God’s help, the blows of the uprising front will become stronger and more painful on the worn and rotting body of the Zionist regime.”

Earlier, Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that Iran had launched over 150 missiles, prompting nationwide Red Alerts and sending millions of Israelis into bomb shelters. Explosions were heard over major cities like Jerusalem and Tel Aviv as air raid sirens blared across the country.

As both sides brace for further action, the skies over the region remain heavy with the threat of escalation. Israel’s retaliation, though inevitable, is yet to unfold.
