Auto influencer dies at 45 from a cardiac arrest while getting a full back tattoo

A Brazillian social media influencer has passed away at the age of 45 while getting a tattoo done on his back. Ricardo Godoi, an auto influencer suffered a cardiac arrest at the start of a procedure to ink his entire back on January 20 in Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Reports indicate that Godoi was set to undergo general anesthesia before the tattooing process began. However, he went into cardiac arrest shortly after the sedation process had started and before the tattoo artist had even begun inking.

An Instagram post announcing his death confirmed that he passed away at noon the same day.

The owner of the tattoo studio expressed deep sorrow over Godoi’s passing, stating, “He was quickly checked and a cardiologist was called in to try to revive him, unfortunately without success.” The tattoo artist described Godoi as a “great friend.”
