Australia on Tuesday assured India of full cooperation in the murder case of an Indian woman IT professional, who was stabbed to death in a Sydney subway.
This was conveyed to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who called her Australian counterpart Julie Bishop.
According to the spokesperson of the External Affairs Ministry, Swaraj called Bishop regarding the case of Prabha Shetty. Bishop assured the minister of full cooperation.
Prabha Shetty, 39, was stabbed to death in Parramatta Park in Westmead while she was over the phone with her husband in India on Saturday.
