A 24-year-old Indian man, Chirag Antil, has been found dead inside a vehicle in Vancouver, Canada.
Antil’s body was found on April 12 in Vancouver’s Sunset neighbourhood. The Vancouver Police Department reported that the residents heard gunshots around 11 pm at East 55th Avenue.
The police are currently investigating to determine the cause of the incident and no arrests have been made so far.
In a post on X, the National President of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), Varun Choudhary said, “We urge the Ministry of External Affairs to closely monitor the progress of the investigation and ensure that justice is swiftly served.”
