Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Boeing hit as China adds 28 US defence firms to export control list
Beijing announced the move on Thursday, with 10 of the firms also placed on "Unreliable Entity List" for their involvement in arms sales to Taiwan

China has added 28 US entities to its export control list in a move aimed at “safeguarding national security and interests”, the commerce ministry announced on Thursday.
The companies listed include major defence and aerospace firms such as General Dynamics, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, Lockheed Martin, and Raytheon Missiles & Defense. As part of the restrictions, China will prohibit the export of dual-use items to these firms starting Thursday, the ministry stated.
Additionally, 10 of the 28 US companies have been placed on China’s “Unreliable Entity List” due to their involvement in arms sales to Taiwan, which Beijing considers an integral part of its territory.
Effective immediately, the blacklisted companies, including various divisions of Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics, are barred from exporting to or importing from China and from making new investments in the country, according to the ministry’s statement.
