Metropolitan Police said that it is an isolated incident. Police arrested a man in London on Sunday after a group of people were assaulted with pepper spray in a parking garage at Heathrow Airport.
According to the Metropolitan police, the man was arrested after a group of men attacked a number of people with a “form of pepper spray” at a multistorey car park at Heathrow airport terminal 3.
The victims were taken to the hospital by ambulance but their injuries were not believed to be serious, the Metropolitan Police said.
Police said that an argument escalated between two groups who knew each other, adding that they were searching for the other suspects who left the scene.
Earlier, armed police were deployed at the Terminal 3’s car park, due to what was described as an unspecified incident.

According to the BBC, the Metropolitan Police said that it is an isolated incident and is not being treated as terrorism or protest-related.
“At this stage, we believe the incident involved a group of people known to each other, with an argument escalating and resulting in a number of people being injured,” Commander Peter Stevens was quoted as saying by The Guardian.
