Asus unveils new range of A series laptops aimed at budget and power users at a starting price of Rs 23,990

Asus has launched new A series laptops aimed at budget and power users. The new A series comes at a starting price of Rs. 23,990.

The A553 notebook is the budget offering powered by Intel® Quad-Core Pentium N3540 processor clocked at 2.16GHz coupled with 4 GB RAM and 500GB storage. This new laptop will be available in purple, pink, white and black colour variants.

The Asus A555LF and A555LA are for those seeking more power from their laptops. These new laptops feature a 15.6” HD screen and are powered by Intel i5-5200U processor. The A555LF has 8GB DDR3 RAM and comes with NVidia GeForce GT930 2GB DDR3 Virtual Memory card. The Asus A555LF has been priced at Rs 34,190 while A555LA costs Rs 28,990.


The new Asus laptops also feature AudioWizard in conjunction with SonicMaster, ensuring optimised audio performance for music, movies, and games with a simple interface.

“The ‘A’ series is crafted for performance, style and mobility but at the same time is economically friendly which can be used for everyday use ranging for gaming, entertainment to educational purpose and office work. With our A555LF laptop, it will be a best buy for this festive season, delivering a seamless technological experience to our consumers,” said Peter Chang, Regional Head of South Asia and Managing Director, Asus India.

ASUS A555LF comes with IceCool Technology to keep palm rest temperatures below body temperatures for user comfort, even after hours of use. Its Smart Gesture touchpad utilises intuitive technology for precise inputs and its long lasting Li-Polymer Battery delivers up to 2.5 times the lifespan of a standard Li-ion battery.
