At WWE SummerSlam, Jon Stewart destroyed John Cena's chances of winning the WWE World HeavyWeight Champion.

WWE SummerSlam Payperview was in for a surprise when Jon Stewart, the former Daily Show host who retired on August 6, was the one who did the heavy damage.

How? Stewart destroyed John Cena’s chances of winning the WWE World HeavyWeight Championship and retaining his US title.

And how exactly did Stewart do that? During the Seth Rollins and John Cena match, where the winner would take all, Stewart ran in and hit Cena with a chair.

Needless to say Jon Stewart’s actions did not go down well. As this Daily Beast points even the announcers said, “Jon Stewart, what have you done!?…Jon Stewart has gone from Daily Show host to SummerSlam criminal here tonight.”

Stewart’s attack on Cena ensured that Rollins soon pinned the US champ to the ground and won both the titles

Jon Stewart’s sudden act of support for Rollins is big change from March this year, when the then Daily show had kicked Rollins in the groin area.

Jon Stewart might have been a great DailyShow host, but at WWE SummerSlam he has certainly done the unthinkable by letting Rollins win.
