At a time when much of the Western hemisphere was celebrating Thanksgiving with family over stuffed turkey, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa) uploaded a video of its astronauts celebrating the festival deep in space.

In a video that’s under 1 minute, Nasa showes how to cook turkey in space. In its Facebook post, the space organisation informs us that there are currently six crew members, including two Americans, stationed at the International Space Station; and that’s how they’re celebrating Thanksgiving.

If you thought the whole elaborate affair of cooking up a Thanksgiving dinner was cumbersome, watch the video to check out what all these astronauts have to do for five spoonfuls of turkey.
