That's Justin Trudeau for you That’s Justin Trudeau for you.

Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has won hearts across the world. There may be people who have ideological differences with Trudeau but it would difficult to find someone who dislikes him – thanks to his liberal views, inclusive administration and a personality that’s oh-so-loving. Trudeau isn’t always never all-serious and all-business, he knows how to make people absolutely adore him and well, we all know about bhangra-lover in him.

A 2015 video he’d shared on Facebook captioned, “This is how we celebrate Indian Independence Day in my riding of Papineau!” is yet again going viral now – because, let’s face it, we Indians love a good dance any time! Trudeau is wearing an off-white kurta and dancing bhangra just like a Punjabi would. With the 70th Independence Day just having gone by, many are sharing the video in the spirit of the Canadian PM’s recent comment on strengthening ties between India and Canada.

On August 15, he released a statement saying, “It has been a pleasure to meet with Prime Minister (Narendra) Modi, and I look forward to working together to further strengthen the relationship between our two countries, and to collaborating on global issues, including peace and security, climate change, and gender equality,” he said.

According to reports, Canada – which has a sizeable amount of Indian immigrants – celebrated India’s Independence day in Toronto and Ottawa. The events were attended by thousands of people wherein Indian flag was hoisted.
