As Americans cast their votes and the world eagerly waits for the US presidential election 2016 results, there is a ‘futuristic’ video going viral on social media. It shows what US would be like should Republican candidate Donald Trump win the elections.
The video is a part of the series called ‘You got Trumped – the first 100 days’, created by a group called Blackpills. The satirical video takes a dig at Trump for all the remarks and comments the billionaire businessman made during the bitter-ugly election campaign.
With no inhibitions, the group has lashed out at the candidate, but mind you, anyone watching the series must take things with a pinch of salt. The series features characters of Donald Trump, his wife Melania Trump, the Secretary of State, Vice-President, White House advisor and many more important characters.
The first episode focuses on how Trump’s entry at the White House mean. And not surprisingly it shows him firing office staff and tweeting “Nothing like firing an immigrant [smiling face]”.
Reminding the audience about Trump’s association with the Miss Universe pageant and all the accompanying controversies, the video shows a bikini-clad beauty queen as the Secretary of State, playing to every stereotype of the former.
But the highlight is when ‘Trump’ introduces the Secretary of Defence at a press conference in the White House. While the character slams the group of journalists for questioning his ability to handle nuclear weapons, he introduces a real monkey to do the job!
The group has released 10 episodes till now on both Facebook and Youtube, along with several teasers, and people just can’t get enough of it. Many of the later episodes have taken a jibe at him for his various comments – from racism to the plan to build a wall along the Mexican border, and some include profanity as well.
The group has also challenged viewers to “send a tweet to Donald J Trump with the #YouGotTrumped” and the first person’s tweet that the real Donald Trump retweets would get $50,000.
